Manorhamilton Rangers U12 Development team met with a baptism of
fire as they travelled to Cliffoney to take on runaway league
leaders Cliffoney-Grange in this league clash. Manor were hit for
six goals as Cliffoney-Grange exerted their authority on the game.
The scoreline at the end of the game flattered the hosts as the
young Manor side had plenty of chances of their own to score but
unfortunately poor finishing and some lax defending ensure Cliffoney-Grange
ran out deserved winners. Oisin McDermott, Alan McSharry and Fergal
Magil went closest for Manor sending in a number of shots on the
Cliffoney-Grange keeper. Ethan Clancy in the Manor net once again
had a good game as he made some outstanding saves.
